SAP HCM Consultant (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support SAP HCM Payroll (PY-AT) in alignment with Austrian statutory requirements
- Lead or support end-to-end payroll implementations for Austrian entities
- Perform system testing, support UAT activities, and analyse/resolve functional issues
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analyses, and design scalable HR solutions
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with related modules (PA, OM, Time Management)
- Prepare functional documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and user guides
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex payroll issues that cannot be resolved by the existing support team
Profile
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM with a strong focus on Austrian Payroll configuration
- Deep knowledge of Austrian statutory requirements (tax, social insurance, collective agreements)
- Proven track record in full-cycle SAP Payroll implementations (blueprinting, customizing, go-live support)
- Solid integration knowledge with PA, OM, and Time Management
- Ability to write clear and precise functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams
- Strong communication and client interaction skills
- English as the working language
- Experience working as a senior specialist or escalation layer within an established payroll support organization is a nice-to-have
- Experience in international HR/Payroll environments is a nice-to-have
