Product/Feature Owner - Radio (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Take end to end ownership and lead the development and delivery of the Lotus and Geely radio solution for the global markets outside of China. Key focus being FM/DAB and HD Radio
- Roll out for global markets incl. Europe, GCC, US/Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Japan
- Perform benchmark activities, analyse market and technology trends and present conclusions to the leadership
- Challenge the technical content and product definition under the aspects of performance and competitiveness. Identify gaps, propose improvement opportunities and drive their implementation
- Support the definition of product roadmaps and strategy
- Review, create and maintain product, system and design requirements incl. change management
- Work closely with the global Geely teams to ensure the integration of the radio solution as part of the overall smart cockpit solution
- Manage and steer multiple internal and external partners and suppliers
- Status reporting to management and program teams
- Define test and validation activities and lead the creation of test methods and standards
Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, information technology or a related course of studies
- Working experience in developing radio and/or infotainment solutions, preferably at an automotive OEM or Tier 1
- Technical expertise in the following domains: media, radio/tuner (FM, DAB, HD Radio, SiriusXM, Hybrid Radio) incl. FM RDS/RBDS, DAB/FM Service Following, RF design, reception & antennas
- Strong understanding of radio verification & validation methods and experience using associated tools (i.e.signal generators, analysers, simulators)
- Android Automotive experience would is desirable
- Experience in the development of HD Radio and/or SiriusXM is beneficial
- Experience working with and managing external supplier(s).
- Awareness of market specific requirements for a global radio solution (e.g. Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea, Asia Pacific).
- Previous exposure to a complete development lifecycle from concept to series production for a radio/infoainment solution or other infotainment product or sub-domain.
- Flexible regarding travel to visit suppliers/partners, other Geely facilities or to support drive test activities globally.
- Fluent in English
