Business Analyst - MAR Compliance (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Perform daily analysis and review of surveillance alerts related to employee trading and MAR compliance
- Investigate alert triggers, data issues, and rule behavior; coordinate corrections with data providers
- Tune, test, and optimize surveillance rules based on business and regulatory requirements
- Elicit, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear input for developers and IT teams
- Conduct impact analyses for changes and explain system logic to technical stakeholders
- Analyze data hands-on using SQL and database-level tools to identify issues and solutions
- Align regularly with senior management to prepare use cases, business cases and investment rationales
Profile
- Strong interest in capital markets, compliance, and Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) topics
- Experience in business analysis, preferably in regulatory, compliance, or trading environments
- Hands-on data analysis skills, including SQL and understanding of database schemas
- Ability to bridge business and IT, explain complex logic and challenge stakeholders constructively
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with frequent stakeholder interaction
- Analytical mindset with willingness to investigate, learn and work hands-on with data
