Functional Consulting – Engineer-to-Order (E2O) (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for the Engineer-to-Order (E2O) stream in an S/4HANA environment
- Design and standardization of E2O processes aligned with global template requirements
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops, identify gaps, and define solution approaches
- Translate E2O business requirements into S/4HANA functional design and configuration concepts
- Ensure integration across PS, PP, MM, SD, and CO processes
- Define and align engineering data structures (EBOMs, routings, materials)
- Support project manufacturing flows and supply chain integration
- Ensure adherence to template governance while enabling controlled enhancements
- Guide build and configuration teams to ensure consistency with design principles
- Collaborate closely with program leadership, stakeholders, and implementation partners
Profile
- SAP functional experience with strong E2O focus in S/4HANA
- Proven experience in 2–3 S/4HANA implementations (process & functional consulting)
- Strong end-to-end knowledge of PS, PP, MM, SD, and CO integration
- Hands-on experience with engineering and project-based manufacturing scenarios
- Expertise in fit-to-standard approaches and template-based rollouts
- Experience in translating complex requirements into scalable SAP solutions
- Familiarity with Fiori apps, roles, and workflow/approval processes (incl. SAP BTP is a plus)
- Understanding of equipment and installed base management
- Fluent English and experience working in international project environments
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
