PLC Developer – Automation Platform (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Development of PLC code for integrating sensors and actuators (e.g. valves, pumps)
- Implementation of controllers and drivers as well as enhancement of existing functionalities
- Execution of unit tests for all implemented features
- Analysis, evaluation, and tracking of defects and requirements
- Conducting code reviews and continuous optimization
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISA-95, ISA-88, GAMP5)
- Documentation of all development steps, tests, and changes according to regulatory requirements
Profile
- Strong experience in Siemens PLC programming (SCL) using TIA Portal
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, OPC UA, IO-Link or CANopen
- Experience with standards such as ISA-95, ISA-88 and GAMP5
- Solid experience with Git and Azure DevOps
- Background in regulated environments (e.g. pharma, biotech) is advantageous
- Very good English skills
