Business Cutover Consultant (S/4HANA) (m/f/d)
Project information
- Our client is in the midst of a major S/4HANA transformation and is building a senior expert team to ensure a smooth and structured business cutover. This role works closely with the Business Cutover Lead and focuses on hands-on execution rather than PMO or stakeholder-management activities.
Responsibilities
- Define and structure the overall business cutover approach in a large S/4HANA program
- Develop and maintain cutover plans, timelines, and dependencies
- Prepare and support cutover workshops (agenda, materials, structure)
- Identify, track and manage cutover dependencies ang risks across business and IT
- Act as a senior sparring partner to the Business Cutover Lead with practical guidanceSupport hands-on execution of cutover preparation activities (not purely advisory)
Profile
- Extensive, proven experience in Cutover Management, ideally on large/complex programs
- Strong methodological ability to define clear structures and working models
- Hands-on execution mindset (creating deliverables, driving progress)
- Experience in cross-functional, complex environments
- Fluent or very strong German (critical for local alignment)
- FMCG or related industry background is advantageous
- Experience supporting business-led cutover organizations is advantageous
