Responsibilities
- Takes full ownership of assigned projects, including objective setting, scope definition, milestones, and deliverable
- Develops comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Defines project structure and coordinates technical sub-projects and workstreams
- Establishes governance frameworks and ensures cross-functional alignment
- Aligns project timelines and resources with line management and PMAS
- Leads interdisciplinary project teams and manages external vendors and service providers
- Monitors project progress using KPIs and initiates corrective actions when needed
- Maintains transparent communication with stakeholders and documents key project meetings
- Ensures successful handover of validated systems or equipment into production
- Drives continuous improvement of tools, processes, and project management standards
Profile
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Engineering, Process Technology, Automation, or a related technical discipline
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent) required
- Experience in leading projects such as investment, automation, or process technology projects in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry
- Proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects within a regulated (GMP/IVD) environment
- Experience in vendor and contract management, and coordination of multi-site or international project teams
- Proficiency in project management standards, methods, and tools (classical, hybrid, and agile approaches)
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to guide interdisciplinary teams without direct line authority
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; structured and proactive mindset
- Solid understanding of process equipment, automation systems, qualification, and validation principles
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German proficiency preferred
- Deep understanding of quality, EHS, and compliance requirements in regulated manufacturing environments
