Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive global sourcing strategies for the IT category in close accordance with IT functional leaders, focusing on long-term value creation
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with key global suppliers to secure optimal terms, drive innovation, and foster strategic partnerships
- Establish and maintain robust supplier performance management systems to ensure continuous improvement, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate sourcing strategies with business objectives, ensuring seamless execution and alignment
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for strategic advantage and innovation in the IT category
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve significant cost savings
- Interface with business sourcing leaders and functional owners to lay out strategies, ensure business buy-in and ensure optimized internal coordination and communication
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT sourcing or procurement, with a strong track record of delivering cost savings and value
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English is required and German is an advantage

Salary information
- The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
