ADAS System and Integration Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Integrate multi-vendor cameras, LiDARs, radars, IMUs, and GNSS systems into prototype vehicles, ensuring seamless connectivity and synchronization across all sensor modalities
- Calibrate sensors mounted in various vehicle positions to achieve optimal accuracy and reliable perception performance
- Deploy AI models and autonomous driving algorithms onto ECUs and development boards
- Implement, optimize, and validate sensor fusion algorithms as well as trajectory planning algorithms for real-time automotive applications
- Develop high-performance and reliable software solutions in C++20 and Python for both real-time processing and offline evaluation workflows
- Automate large-scale data collection pipelines and synchronize datasets with on-premise or cloud-based storage systems
- Work with ROS2 in heterogeneous environments (x86 and ARM) to support distributed communication architectures
- Customize Linux distributions for embedded automotive systems using the Yocto Project, targeting SoCs and other embedded platforms
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot automotive communication technologies including various Ethernet stacks and CAN networks for prototype development and validation
Profile
- Strong proficiency in C++20 and Python
- Practical experience with ROS2 across x86 and ARM platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in sensor fusion and trajectory planning algorithms
- Hands-on experience with Yocto and Linux customization for embedded systems
- Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN)
- Experience deploying algorithms on ECUs and development boards
- Background in real-time systems and AI model integration
- Valid driving license recognized in Germany (required for vehicle testing and on-road validation)
