Life Cycle Engineer / Fleet Reliability (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing reliability concerns and actively participating in relevant boards
- Provide technical support to resolve operational issues and lead root cause investigations with corrective actions
- Conduct quality and surveillance audits to ensure continuous product improvement and customer satisfaction
- Forecast safety and reliability performance using statistical methods and risk analysis
- Manage issues affecting maturity, lifecycle cost, reliability, and maintainability while safeguarding design intent
- Deliver and analyze lifecycle data to optimize platform availability and support the Service Operation Validation Strategy
- Prepare and present technical reports and communications to customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders
- Identify requirements for new health monitoring systems and ensure regulatory and technical compliance
- Proactively assess fleet and component reliability to drive product optimization
- Ensure structured data capture and knowledge management to improve products and future design solutions
- Collect in-service data and implement continuous improvement through best practices and lessons learned, feeding insights into future programs and product design
Profile
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
- Proven technical expertise and specialized skills
- Solid knowledge of engine components and systems; understanding of engine controls is an advantage
- Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex programs
- Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and processes with accountability
- High level of self-motivation, flexibility, initiative, and action orientation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
