Electrical Protection Engineer Specialist (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical interface between customers, suppliers, and engineering teams
- Review and validate electrical protection designs and technical documentation
- Support protection coordination, fault analysis, and electrical studies
- Drive supplier deliverables and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT activities, and technical troubleshooting
Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Fluent English (C1), French is a plus
- Experience in Electrical Protection Systems within power generation, utilities, transmission & distribution, or industrial environments
- Experience with protection relays (ABB, Siemens, GE) and MV/HV electrical systems
- Knowledge of protection coordination, short-circuit, load-flow, and arc-flash studies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate between customers, suppliers, and engineering teams
