Manager Affiliates, Valuations and M&A Support (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Perform goodwill impairment tests and other impairment assessments for tangible and intangible assets in accordance with IAS/IFRS
- Prepare company valuations for IFRS and statutory purposes following IDW S1/HFA RS 10
- Analyze the financial effects of M&A transactions and assess different deal structures
- Support M&A projects in the areas of financial reporting, accounting, and corporate finance (e.g., purchase price allocations)
- Contribute to financial due diligence processes and conduct comprehensive risk analyses
- Ensure compliance and governance standards, particularly regarding data management for group subsidiaries
- Support the optimization of the group structure while collaborating closely with Legal, Finance & Treasury, and Tax departments
Profile
- Degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on finance and/or accounting
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in business valuation, corporate finance, and financial accounting
- Strong analytical skills, highly structured working style, and solid problem-solving abilities
- Proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects
- Clear and confident communication and presentation skills in both English and German
