Responsibilities

  • Perform goodwill impairment tests and other impairment assessments for tangible and intangible assets in accordance with IAS/IFRS
  • Prepare company valuations for IFRS and statutory purposes following IDW S1/HFA RS 10
  • Analyze the financial effects of M&A transactions and assess different deal structures
  • Support M&A projects in the areas of financial reporting, accounting, and corporate finance (e.g., purchase price allocations)
  • Contribute to financial due diligence processes and conduct comprehensive risk analyses
  • Ensure compliance and governance standards, particularly regarding data management for group subsidiaries
  • Support the optimization of the group structure while collaborating closely with Legal, Finance & Treasury, and Tax departments

Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on finance and/or accounting
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in business valuation, corporate finance, and financial accounting
  • Strong analytical skills, highly structured working style, and solid problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects
  • Clear and confident communication and presentation skills in both English and German
