Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Understanding business objectives and business specifics (e.g. on processes, guidelines, products) to validate business requirements and to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
- Conducting requirement elicitation and specification sessions with subject matter experts and end users
- Provide expertise and understand as-is and to-be processes as part of requirements elicitation
- Creating functional solution concepts and IT requirement specifications
- Applying agreed design and work principles
- Providing input regarding solution alternatives and engaging in workshops across teams and in combined BA / Architect / Developer sessions
- Owning assigned topics end-to-end including related dependencies, scope and timeline targets, quality and testing
- Support testing and input to change management and training activities
- Supporting the stream lead in planning, backlog management and implementation dependencies
- Participating in post implementation activities including system documentation completion and production support
Profile
- Solid experience as Business Analyst or SME experience in global strategic transformation projects
- Strong background in agile delivery environments and experience working in complex, international setups
- Proven ability to capture and translate complex business requirements into functional IT specifications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of ownership, proactivity, and ability to perform under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in IT, business information systems, or related fields
- Balanced mix of business acumen and technical understanding
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
