Responsibilities
- Develop and design measurement technologies for sensor systems used to determine diabetes-related parameters
- Coordinate measurement technology requirements with cross-functional teams including electronics and software development
- Monitor and support the implementation of technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal project standards
- Serve as a key contact person for interdisciplinary interfaces and project stakeholders
- Establish and optimize simulation environments for measurement and sensor technologies
- Compare experimental data with simulation results and continuously refine underlying models
- Contribute to the development of innovative detection methods in close collaboration with sensor development teams
- Coordinate the implementation of test methods, verification activities, qualifications, and validations
- Support the development of medical device technologies within a highly regulated R&D environment
Profile
- Completed degree in Engineering, Medical Technology, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field
- Extensive Professional experience in R&D, medical device development, or measurement technology
- Proven experience working within a regulated environment and preparing technical documentation
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices
- Expert knowledge of hardware- and software-based control and measurement systems
- Strong expertise in the application of measurement technologies within electrochemistry
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new technologies and scientific concepts
- Experience in the design and layout of electronic circuits is highly desirable
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- German language skills are considered an advantage
