Legal Consultant (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Provide legal analysis and advice on HR policies, rules and procedures
- Support employment-related grievances, internal appeals and cases before the ILOAT
- Advise on processes such as probation, performance management, misconduct investigations, disciplinary actions, separations and organizational restructuring
- Handle matters related to medical leave, prolonged sick leave, data protection and ethics compliance
- Deliver cross-functional legal support for decision-making, compliance, risk management and negotiations
Profile
- Legal experience within an international organization, law firm, or legal department
- Proven expertise in employment law, HR policy interpretation, disciplinary matters, and dispute resolution under ILOAT rules
- Advanced law degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent); desirable: postgraduate specialization in international or employment law and bar admission
- Strong skills in legal drafting, negotiation and complex legal analysis
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to diverse audiences and work collaboratively across departments
