My duties
  • As Manufacturing Process Manager, you will be the owner of the Bill of Process framework, within our Insert Factory. You will drive the process of ensuring mould parts production to complete moulds, at right time and quality. You will be responsible for the right routing of single pieces production in the factory, based on our standard routings and features. You will understand and analyze our capabilities based on data to ensure the right improvements going forward to secure our overall KPI’s. To be specific, you will:
  • Build master routes based on analysis of different features, and the need for implementing them
  • Own the NPI process in Insert Factory, to maintain Insert Factory’s status as supplier of choice, for our production
  • Optimize and improve current master routes to ensure efficient and industrialized production
  • Detect and analyze optimization possibilities based on data, to always make the best compromise between quality, reliability, and cost
  • Drive and own the manufacturing standardization board

  • Based from the Insert Factory BackOffice in Billund, your focus is to make special components to our key moulds for internal manufacturing and LEGO® components. The Insert Factory BackOffice is a global provider of production data to Insert Factory. We are functionally responsible for analyzing and providing production data to Insert Factory shopfloor. This includes applying state-of-the-art technology and software, within manufacturing of high-end mould components to ensure a reliable and highly industrialized production environment, of single piece production.
My qualifications
  • You have a deep knowledge of the manufacturing value chain, preferably from the mould making industries. You will drive LEAN activities with a systematic approach in your own area for continuous improvement. You will be communicating with the relevant stakeholders and will drive our IF KPI’s on cost, lead-time, and quality. 
  • Further, you have:
  • Profound experience as a toolmaker or similar, preferably combined with a bachelor’s degree
  • PLM System understanding and experience
  • Master data knowledge
  • CAD experience minimum at user level
  • Experience in project management, e.g. Prince II or IPMA
  • English proficiency
  • Experience from a global manufacturing company is an advantage
  • Experience with SAP and/or Siemens Teamcenter is a plus
  • Six sigma Green Belt or similar is an advantage
