Process Automation / E & I Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- Instrument engineering for chemical/process plants
- Understanding and working with field systems
- Design, control and implementation of electrical systems in an Ex-protected(IEC 60079-0 and ff, ATEX) process plant environment
- Understanding of electrical power distribution and protection for low and medium voltages (switchgear, transformers, motor control centres, lighting, automation cabinets).
- Applying Functional Safety (IEC 61508, 61511)
- Developing control strategies (from simple temperature/pressure/flow control to feed forward and ratio control)
- Reading/reviewing electrical drawings (i.e. wiring diagrams)
- Developing conceptional solutions for PLC applications
- Carrying out FATs for example MCC, control cabinets and/or other electrical installations on your own and having great pleasure in plant commissioning activities.
- Improvement including maintenance and repair for pilot plants
Your profile
- Diploma in Electrical or Automation Engineering or similiar
- Fluency in German and English
- Several years of experience within the chemical industry
- Willingness to travel abroad
