Software Division Manager in Vietnam (m/f/d)

My duties
  • Ensuring and improving the software project execution excellence of the Vietnam Office
  • Ensuring and improving efficient and effective communication and collaboration practices of software project teams with other locations
  • Driving human resources topics together with the HR Manager (overall line management, organization, recruiting, HR marketing, contractors)
  • Conducting technical second round interviews for Software Engineers and making final hiring decision to maintain and expand high-quality staff
  • Ensuring and improving employee engagement programs, the competitive compensation system, a customer-centric mindset, and a performance-based culture across the company, establishing KPIs associated with each of the desired behaviors, galvanizing employees’ satisfaction and performance levels, while also implementing an open communication channel
  • Leading project staffing by making sure that resource requests from Singapore and Switzerland can be fulfilled in time with the right talents
  • Annual budget planning for the location and controlling the finances with the support of the Admin team (budgeting, liquidity, accounting, payroll, invoicing, earnings)
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, namely customers, partners, and government entities, seeking for improving communication, collaboration and partnership with them
  • Ensuring legal compliance of the office operation
  • Ensuring transparent internal communication
  • Defining and implementing location-specific strategic topics 
My qualifications
  • Academic degree (preferably Master’s degree) in IT, further degrees in economics desirable
  • Profound experience in leading a software developement team 
  • Experience in project management (in the area of software development f.e. scrum, SAFe)
  • Proven ability to define and implement organizational processes, procedures and policies - change management
  • International and intercultural work experience
  • Ability to balance conflicting requirements such as customer demands, strategic demands and employee demands
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Fluency in German and English (verbal and written)
