My duties
  • You help the General Manager Business & Store Development to proactively build up the department
  • You support the ongoing operational business and you are accountable for driving like-for-like sales in selected markets together with the head of operation in each National Organisation
  • As Senior Director you establish and maintain regular weekly/monthly/quarterly contact with each market – underpinned by measurable quantitative performance (KPI’s) and standardised reporting
  • You define improvement projects with each market and work together with the various supporting functions (such as but not limited to – IIC Category Management, EBs, Store Development, DEP, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to deliver those projects successfully
  • You are responsible to help roll out and implement the IIC BoM approved strategy and Business model including the store concepts in existing and new markets
  • At least the minimum requirements and obligations must be fulfilled in all markets in the defined territories
  • This task will be supported by the internal store development and design department
My qualifications
  • Internationally experienced professional with in-depth work experience in management consulting, corporate development functions or similar combined with a successful track record in (sporting goods) omni-channel retail business
  • Able to communicate at all levels of the corporate hierarchy
  • Internationally mobile and prepared to travel (30-50%)
  • English fluency
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Story-lining and presentation skills
  • Familiar with consulting toolkit
  • End-product oriented with a strong sense of ownership
  • You are independent, curious and a strong team player
