Embedded Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Verification of an Embedded Software Platform for actuators for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Definition of test cases (functional, performance, stress, load...) according to requirements at integration (uC) and system (product) level
- Implementation of test cases in Python and Robot Framework using a given HW test environment (test board, power supply, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
- Ensure adequate level of test automation
- Run test cases
- Evaluate non-conformities (SW bug, infrastructure bug, etc.) in close cooperation with the development team
- Report findings
Profile
- Experience in Software/ Firmware or IoT-based integration and system verification as part of complex product development
- Experience in TCP/IP and API Testing (REST API, REDFISH API) and BACnet mandatory
- Experience with Python and Robot Framework
- Experience in Secure Boot/Secure Update Testing and Gigabit/Network Testing advantageous
- Solid understanding of hardware / electronics
- Experience with Linux
- Fluent english language skills, german language skills advantegous
