Business Process Excellence Lead (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in business process management and modeling, ensuring alignment with the company’s global Business Process Architecture
- Identify, map, and document existing business processes for biotech manufacturing operations, including workflows, key activities, inputs/outputs, and interdependencies
- Analyze processes to detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, and redesign them to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and cycle times
- Develop agile and adaptable processes that can respond quickly to evolving business needs and industry shifts
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate new technologies (e.g., AI/ML, automation) into business processes to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Design systems that automate repetitive tasks and streamline data analysis, freeing up resources for higher-value activities
- Define metrics and KPIs to measure the performance and impact of implemented processes, and ensure ongoing monitoring
- Continuously review and iterate process improvements to address new challenges and organizational evolution and Identify risks linked to new or existing processes and develop mitigation strategies
- Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of process changes, fostering buy-in across all levels of the organization
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to highlight the benefits of new processes and drive cultural alignment with transformation goals
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in business process excellence, operational excellence, or continuous improvement roles (ideally within pharma/biotech or manufacturing environments)
- Strong expertise in Lean, BPM, and change management methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (automation, AI/ML) and their application in process improvement is an asset
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to influence and drive organizational change
