Audio Tuner Expert (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Create software architecture of the system that would fulfil system/functional requirements, and achieve the desired business outcome
- Lead the architecture of (Tuner Domain) to deliver a scalable, reliable, modular, and high-quality product design, and guide the software development teams
- Responsible for the architecture definition and to review a high-level design, consult on the requirement gathering process, and support the overall software delivery
- Leading the Tuner architecture and system design for IVI/CDC products
- Owning the Tuner end-to-end system architecture including SOC, VIP. DSP, AMP and other peripherals
- Leads technical discussions with internal and external customers to provide technical differentiation
- Documentation for software architecture, design and use guides
- Lead Tuner field reception tuning along with Custome
- Guide the team to debug complex Tuner issues in the system including field reception conditions
- Guide the team System profiling and analysis of Tuner related issues (end-to-end including peripherals
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Electronics
- Experience in IVI domain for Tuner features
- Overall, IVI system knowledge including the HW peripherals
- Expertise in Tuner standards, AM/FM, RDS/RBDS, DAB/DAB+, IBOC/HD radio, SDARS/SXM, Software Defined Radio
- Expertise of Tuner concepts (Regional Constellations, Demodulation, Decoding, Linking/Blending, Multi-path, Interference)
- Professional experience in software product life cycle and embedded software development using C or C++ language
- Professional Experience in Software Architecture definitions
- Expertise of Tuner reception tuning
- Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and quality
- Fluent English skills, German skills desirable
