Group Financial Controller (m/f/d)

NNIT are looking for a Group Financial Controller to become an integral part of a team of like-minded professionals, all devoted to similar financial missions. You'll be working in their headquarters, which is located in Søborg, but are moving to Copenhagen city center at Weidekampsgade 14 from July 1st. In this role, you will be a key player in NNIT’s month-to-quarter-to-year-end financial procedures, spanning both the internal and external reporting, financial compliance framework, and finance transformation.

As NNIT’s new Group Financial Controller, your duties will encompass:
•Supplying consolidated data and insights for NNIT’s monthly reports, ensuring compliance and timely delivery to their astute management team.
• Collaborating in the crafting of internal and external consolidated financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Pioneering the interpretation and evolution of group accounting principles in accordance with the esteemed IFRS standards.
• Meticulously performing internal control procedures and compliance reviews to maintain financial integrity.
• Fostering collaboration by reviewing reconciliations in the closing process, hand in hand with the accounting department.
• Extending a guiding hand to local finance teams in NNIT’s subsidiaries, particularly when navigating complex accounting matters and transactions.
• Orchestrating seamless coordination with external tax consultants to ensure financial soundness.
• Playing a pivotal role in optimizing projects geared toward refining financial processes and accounting policies, while fortifying the internal controls.
• Contributing your expertise to the successful implementation of a cutting-edge ERP and consolidation system.

Since NNIT operates on a global stage, cross-cultural collaboration is a given. Proficiency in written and verbal English and Danish is essential.

To succeed in this role your ideal qualifications are:
• A proven track record in a similar financial controlling position or as an auditor.
• Sound analytical skills in financial information. As NNIT’s new Group Financial Controller, your duties will encompass.

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, processes, and IT, with a deep understanding of system and process relationships.
• Strong IT skills and experience using ERP systems, consolidation tools and Excel.
• IFRS experience in a Danish-based corporation.
• Ideally you are currently an auditor or financial controller with a solid education, such as cand. merc. aud. or HD (R) or an equivalent qualification.
