Associate Protein Production (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Perform protein expression in bacterial and/or mammalian systems
- Conduct protein purification using chromatographic techniques (e.g., affinity, ion exchange, SEC)
- Support biochemical and biophysical assays to characterize protein quality and interactions
- Troubleshoot and optimize protocols for protein yield, purity, and stability
- Maintain accurate lab records and contribute to data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic R&D environment
Profile
- BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in protein production and purification
- Familiarity with biophysical techniques (e.g., DSF, MST, ITC, SPR) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus, but not required)
