


Equipment Engineer (m/f/d)


Responsibilities
- Ensures the quality and effectiveness of projects with key outcomes within the function through sound planning, early risk assessments and the implementation of evasive strategies
- Development and use of risk methods and implementation of avoidance/reduction strategies
- Supports development and/or upscaling projects
- Development of user requirement specifications. Manages multiple, often concurrent projects/programmes
- The engineer is responsible for the successful and timely completion of all project objectives and milestones under his control
- Management of site constructions within the scope of capital projects / Timely reporting of important project and financial performance indicators to a local and global audience
- Technical examination of quotes / Creation of change plans and execution of change tasks and CAPA tasks
- Consideration of internal and external guidelines and standardsCoordination of external companies / Gain a thorough knowledge of different technologies for highly effective APIs and processes
- Independent discussion of project scopes with Global Engineering / Stakeholder Management to ensure that all points relevant to the success of the project are included in the project plans
- Ensure that all legal, EHS and GMP requirements are met for the projects managed / Negotiations with external service and equipment providers to ensure that the interests of project participants are represented in AbbVie in the best possible way
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or related fields with significant engineering and/or operational experience
- Works well with other engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Works well with different groups within engineering and maintains close working relationships with internal and external employees
- Experience in process optimization methodology as well as good knowledge in statistics and characteristic numbers
- Good English skills and experience in project planning tools, SAP and MS Office
- Own initiative, high resilience and assertiveness
- Very good communication and team skills, great organization talent
