Freelance Azure Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, and Azure SQL Database
- Ensure infrastructure is stable, reliable, and optimized for operational needs
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep to automate deployments
- Implement and maintain security measures within the Azure environment
- Configure access via Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- Set up Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Ensure data encryption and secure configurations
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based solutions and deployments
Profile
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Relevant and demonstrable experience in a similar Azure engineering role
- Hands-on experience setting up Azure environments with various PaaS components
- Microsoft certifications: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) / At least one Associate-level certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-203, or AZ-204)
