Freelance Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, Implement and Manage Platform Services: Create and maintain platform services that support the workflow of development teams
- This includes managing hosting environments (private, public cloud, and containers), end-to-end monitoring, integration layers, IT management tooling, CI/CD and networking
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance platform services to improve agility, scalability, and reliability, while increasing self-service and automation capabilities
- Interface Optimization: Improve the interface between the platform and development teams
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and prevent defects and incidents
Profile
- Fluent in dutch and english
- Public Cloud: Experience with Azure and AWS
- Container Solutions: Proficiency with Openshift, Kubernetes and Docker
- Networking: Knowledge of both physical and software-defined networking
- Observability and Monitoring: Strong understanding of both conceptual and technical aspects
- CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tooling and implementations
- IT Management: Familiarity with IT management tooling and implementations
- Coding and Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash and Perl
- IT Security and Continuity: Strong background in IT security and continuity
- DevOps: Comprehensive understanding of DevOps practices
