Freelance Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Co-contribute to the design, development, and implementation of platform services (e.g., hosting environments, monitoring, CI/CD tooling)
- Co-define and provide best practices in IT management via blueprints
- Continuously improve platform services to enhance agility, scalability, and reliability
- Prevent incidents through automation and proactive monitoring
- Assist in production operations, including infrastructure design and scripting
- Design and implement observability and monitoring solutions for full landscape transparency
- Define and support Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Objectives (SLOs), including tooling implementation
- Proactively support teams where SLOs are not being met
Profile
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Public Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Container solutions (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Networking (physical and software-defined)
- Observability & monitoring (conceptual and technical)
- CI/CD tooling and implementation
- Incident management and post-incident reviews
- Coding & scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Perl)
- Linux systems / IT security and IT continuity
- DevOps principles and practices
