Scientist DPS Phys-Chem QC (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Independently perform routine and validation physico-chemical assays (e.g., identity, purity, content testing) for biologics and related substances
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in all laboratory activities
- Prepare mobile phases and calibrate laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meters, balances)
- Troubleshoot and support investigations of laboratory equipment issues, proposing corrective actions
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and readiness for audits, including inventory and consumables management
- Support the drafting and revision of instrument SOPs
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lab optimization projects
Profile
- Educational background in Life Sciences (EFZ, HF, CTA, BTA, PTA, BSc, MSc or equivalent)
- Solid experience in analytical quality control within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Strong expertise in physico-chemical analytics and cGMP-regulated environments
- Proficient user of Empower 3.7 software
- Skilled in scientific data interpretation, reporting, and documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently
