Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation in the aviation sector
- Aircraft Maintenance Supplements
- Illustrated Parts Supplements
- Cabin Crew Manuals
- Passenger Safety Cards
- Support and drive the transition from FrameMaker/Illustrator to a structured SGML/XML-based documentation system
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external tech doc providers
- Option to take on deputy or full managerial responsibilities within the department
Profile
- Hands-on experience in technical documentation
- Strong skills in SGML and XML; experience with ABOTEXT Experience or comparable tools advantageous
- Proficient in Adobe FrameMaker, Illustrator and other documentation tools
- Familiar with ATA chapters and service bulletins
- Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to lead or support team management
- Experience in a smaller or mid-sized company preferred - broad interface exposure is necessary
- Background in aviation helpful but not required - candidates from similarly regulated industries (e.g., rail, medtech) are welcome
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented and proactive
- Fluent English is necessary, French is an advantage
