Sourcing Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Execute procurement requests in line with category strategies, policies, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored sourcing solutions
- Apply procurement methodologies and tools to maximize value
- Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage supplier performance and ensure operational efficiency
- Lead contracting activities including master agreements, statements of work, and change orders
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure audit readiness
- Act as first-level escalation point for business stakeholders
- Support master data management and contribute to category strategy feedback
Profile
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Profound procurement experience, including contracting, ERP systems (SAP), and spot buying
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into procurement specifications
- Experience in sourcing within technical fields (e.g., electronics, mechanics)
- Familiarity with eProcurement tools (eSourcing, eAuction) and contract management systems
- Fluent Englisch skills, knowledge of German (B2+) are a strong advantage
- Understanding of cost reduction/value improvement programs
- Team-oriented mindset with a drive for operational excellence
