Data Operations Coordinator (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily data flows and supporting our data operations infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with a growth mindset and an aptitude for continuous improvement
- Coordinate and lead a team of developers responsible for daily data flows and ETL processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot data flows, addressing incident management and user requests promptly
- Manage and prioritize the tickets coming to the team daily
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions meet business needs
- Implement and maintain best practices for data operations and ETL processes
- Develop and maintain documentation for data flows, ETL processes, and incident management procedures aligned with ITIL4 principles
- Participate in the design and development of new data solutions and enhancements
- Drive continuous improvement within the data operations team as well as data quality and delivery processes
Profile
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Strong MSSQL experience (Linked Servers, SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
- Experience with query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plans, and troubleshooting slow queries
- Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Familiarity with data flow management tools and platforms
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation and data manipulation
- Experience with Azure cloud platform
- Experience with backend visualization tools and setup (eg. Grafana dashboards)
- Experience with Data transport solutions across technical stacks – (S)FTP, REST API, Azure Data Factory, RabbitMQ
