Global Accounting Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex global accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations to ensure consistency across global subsidiaries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
- Support internal and external audits at group level
- Oversee the global and consolidated reporting matters
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in global accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and finance departments in different countries and act as an advisor for various subsidiaries and global finance leaders
- Conduct trainings for various Stakeholders and develop team members
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration on Master Level or similar (Swiss CPA, Chartered Expert in Financial Managerial Accounting and Reporting)
- Experience in international accounting, particularly in a global corporate structure
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs and a genuine interest in staying up to date
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Any additional languages are an asset
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
