My duties
  • Represent the business requirements for his/her/their functional area
  • Coordination with other cross-functional project team members and/or the work of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Define business processes and provide input to system configuration decisions in his/her/their area(s) of functional expertise
  • Provide global perspective for business process decisions
  • Identify, document, and resolve issues 
  • Develop business process documentation (process flows, business process documents, review functional specification documents, etc)
  • Develop presentations
  • Assist in the development of training materials (identification, documentation, validation, etc)
  • Identify test scenarios and develop test scripts, test system(s) configuration, development objects, and user-authorizations
  • Provide first line of support during the implementation stabilization period
  • Support data conversion activities (strategy, data cleansing, validation, etc)
  • Deliver training to end-user community 
  • Assist in formal and informal change management activities
My qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of the company's business processes in European country statutory reporting and compliance. Some background in country income tax and local tax compliance (e.g., government e-invoicing, statutory fixed asset accounting) is preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to move forward with incomplete information 
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to present project details to senior management
  • Respect their peer group and end-user community for their knowledge and skills
  • Empowerment to make decisions on functional, process, or operational changes
  • Excellent team player skills, with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to raise relevant issues, drive for solution, and make decisions under time constraints
  • Experience with system implementations preferred
  • Experience with conducting presentations and training
  • Application software skills, including presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
