

Senior Electrical Project Engineer (m/w/d)
- Participate with and frequently lead key aspects of projects as part of T&D (transmission & Distribution) project teams
- Responsible for all aspects of T&D projects from initial tendering, through contract award, detailed design, site installation, commissioning, energisation and successful handover
- Identify, undertake and manage key detailed design tasks
- Initiate and manage the sub-contracting of specialist design / studies
- Ensure that technical issues are identified and resolved without delay
- Review quotations for the supply of material to confirm adequacy and technical suitability
- Be aware of, manage and mitigate commercial risk to the company
- Process internal procurement from equipment enquiries, requisitioning & monitoring manufacture through to delivery to site whilst maintaining a comprehensive audit trail
- Prepare technical submittals for approval to the client, coordinating inputs from other parties where required
- Work with the project PM, civil engineer and QS to prepare sub-contract packages
- 3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years engineering design/project management experience on industrial installation projects
- Professional and commercial acumen and be capable of representing Kirby at a senior level in meetings
- Detailed understanding of HV and LV network requirements in industrial settings, with particular emphasis on resilience and studies requirements
- Experience with energy management systems and integration of automated control systems to electrical networks
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time and to budget
- Experience of managing multiple projects at the one time
