Junior CQV Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute CVQ protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for fridges, freezers, and other controlled temperature units
- Perform qualification testing including temperature mapping, alarms, and control system verification
- Support qualification of related utility connections, monitoring systems, and control interfaces as required
- Execute testing safely and in compliance with EHS standards
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability of all qualification activities
- Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Drive assigned equipment qualifications through to completion, managing timelines and deliverables independently
- Support risk assessments, readiness reviews, and deviation management related to cold storage qualification
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience in equipment qualification within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Strong technical knowledge of fridges, freezers, and ULT storage units, including monitoring and alarm systems
- Familiarity with GMP requirements and the validation lifecycle
- Ability to write and execute technical documents to a high standard
- Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Fluent in English (German or French is advantageous)
