My duties
  • Introduction: The position of Global Marketing Director Immunology will lead critical elements of the Emapalumab Global Development and Commercialistion Plan. Specifically, lead and drive the plans for life cycle management with new indications, and geographic expansion beyond the EU and North America. The role will be part of the Global cross functional team leading the global activities supporting the launch across Europe and Asia, as well as continuing to support North America (early launch phase), and shaping the life cycle management plan.
  • Shaping and driving the strategy for Emapalumab in China and Japan (launch expected Q1 2022) including supporting the local affiliates to develop local launch and commercialisation plans
  • Liaise and represent commerical function to R&D project teams, providing strong input to decisions around trial design, regulatory strategies and label discussions.
  • Liase closely with HQ and local pricing and market access teams to ensure alignment of pricing decisions with commercial strategies
  • Shaping and driving the strategy for life cycle management for Emapalumab which will include: New inidcations / Price evolution and interactions / New formulations / 2nd/3rd brands / Publications and label changes/expansions
  • Key parts of the Global Brand Plan, and brand planning process
  • Support business development activities where appropriate, both inlicensing of further immunology assets and forming alliances in key geographies, e.g. South America
  • Managing multiple senior stakeholders with competing/conflicting views to create a path forward that will be optimal for patients, the brand and the company.
My qualifications
  • MBA / MSc in Business Administration/Marketing preferred, academic degree a must. Science/Medical degree or experience is a plus.
  • 10+ years of pharma commercial experience, preferably from the Immunology and/or Rheumatology area. Knowledge in industry business, policies and procedures.
  • Experiencing of launching products and/or label extensions.
  • Experience of working in Global or Regional roles and in an international environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and operating successfully in an environment of change. 
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills – fluent written and spoken English (Additional European language skill is desired).
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Demonstrable customer relationship management experience 
  • Demonstrates analytical and strategic thinking with strong ability to translate it into action
  • Effectively communicates, inspires, influences and negotiates with external/internal stakeholders. High ability to engage in a scientific/medical dialogue with customers and to build strong relations with external experts.
  • Develops and nurtures creativity and innovation, able to identify the most appropriate solutions to complex problems, also non-traditional ones
  • Flexibility, ability to manage change and operate in an environment of uncertainty
