Your responsibilities
- Processing of securities transfers, both incoming and outgoing for our clients
- Processing and controlling settlements and securities registrations.
- Responsible for the processing of Swiss registered shares and the associated reconciliation
- Failed transactions monitoring and aged fails management process
- Analysis and management of complex operations and exceptional situations.
- Daily contacts and follow up with counterparties and custodians.
- Daily follow up and investigation of all outstanding trades and reconciliation breaks
- Liaise with different departments to collaborate and solve issues and other matters.
- Make sure to always have a customer’s focused attitude and respect deadlines.
- Be able to challenge the current processes and propose potential improvement.
- Operational risk management and procedure reviews
- Participation in business, regulatory and continuous improvement projects
- Comply with regulatory requirements, company, and group policies, maintain compliance.
- Propose improvement measures
Your profile
- Banking or commercial training (CFC as a minimum, bachelor’s degree an asset)
- Previous working experience of a least 2 years in the banking environment with an experience in a Back office “settlement/stock transfers”
- Excellent knowledge of SWIFT and especially MT54X messages
- Knowledge of GTExchange, GTMatch is an asset
- Fluent in French and English is an asset
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Proactive and able to take initiatives.
- Reliable and capable to prioritize.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team and adapt in a continuously changing environment
- Swiss domiciliation required
